Every morning, the way I know my roommate has already got up is to look at the table to find the tract of marker cups with a shape of its bottom colored by coffee. My roommate is quiet, she always drinks a cup of coffee at morning. The tracks of coffee is her life symbol. So I made this pixelized painting with a pitch of her coffee. I never drink coffee, but when I am doing this assignment, I somehow felt the smell of coffee is pleasant. I made this picture with coffee and oil. Oil is those seemingly transparent circles around the heart. I didn’t use water because I found that water will hydrate and oil will be absorbed. I guess that’s why I always lose water in my body but can never lose fat.
