bio-inspiration

I have been watching animal documentary this week and I got another bio-inspiration from cuttlefish. I think the way they inflate and its transparency similar to silicone and that’s why I am excited about cuttlefish.

Cuttlefish can change its color by using muscle to pull the pigment segment out to be bigger. Cuttlefish has 3 layers of pigment cell which are yellow, red and brown.

I think I can try to paint different color of pigment to the silicone part which has bubbles inside and when it inflated it would have a different looking.
I remember when I do silicone casting at home and the bubble would be very apparent when I inflated them.
