mechanical simulation in solidworks

At first my idea is simple, I just want to use a level itself to draw the track. So I do the mechanical simulation in Solidworks.

CNC and assembly

I lost some of the documentation photo. Basically it just do not work. I found it extremely hard to keep the rod in track while itself has gravity and is always inclined to add friction to one side of the track. The movement can not be smooth.
